If you love food, Thanksgiving has to be one of your favorite holidays of the year!  It’s the day to forsake your diet if you’re on one and if not, it’s still a free pass to eat more than you usually do.  There are the staples of any Thanksgiving dinner such as turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and everything else that I pile high on my plate.  It’s truly a holiday that celebrates getting together and eating.

One day our family went to a restaurant and I saw an item called Thanksgiving fries.  We were so intrigued that I ordered them and thus started our love for this little-known pleasure.  My family devoured those fries in about 45 seconds.  I thought to myself, “how hard can these be to make?”  and before I knew it, I bought the ingredients to make them on my own.  They turned out just as good as the dish at the restaurant or maybe even a little better.

My son said, “dad, I love the orange fries!”

Let’s just say if you make these Thanksgiving fries fall dessert recipe for any holiday party, they will be the talk of the town.  And best of all, there are only 5 ingredients.  So without further ado, I’m sharing the love!

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  • 20 oz. bag of sweet potato fries
  • 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 7 oz. of marshmallow cream
  • pecans
  • dried cranberries

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Once the fries have cooked, put them on a plate, drizzle them with the marshmallow cream, dried cranberries and pecans.

We had some leftover marshmallow sauce and we all grabbed a spoon and dug in.  It was so good!

I’m telling you, these fries are so different and amazing, that you might as well prepare to make more!
