My daughter is picky when it comes to food. She can even like something one day and not like the same thing the next day. Like many families, we cycle through anywhere from 10-15 go-to meals. And my daughter doesn’t like most of them. Pretty much every day around dinner time she will come to either my wife or I and ask “What are we eating?” Nine times out of ten, she will sigh when we give an answer and follow by saying “You know I hate that!” Unless I say pizza rolls, she will not be happy. Â
Well, from now on she will sigh one less time during our dinner rotations. You see I found a dish that has taken the top spot as the most loved dish at our house. My daughter is the main advocate for this recipe and she will even eat it for leftovers. This dish is the real MVP!Â
Million Dollar Spaghetti
Now I know spaghetti is considered a go-to meal for many families. But normal spaghetti can be a little tired sometimes. So I am glad to say that you don’t have to make it the same old way anymore! If you haven’t heard of it already, let me introduce you to the Million Dollar Spaghetti recipe. The sauce is absolute heaven. We could eat it by itself. Now I had heard of this recipe for several years but I never took the time to try it. I am so glad I did. Don’t wait like I did. Make it this week and watch your family fall in love.
 Â
You don’t have to make spaghetti the same old way anymore!
Here are the ingredients you will need.
- 1 pound spaghetti noodles, cooked al dente and drained (al dente means firm to the bite)
- 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 24 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Butter the bottom and sides of a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cooked beef and spaghetti sauce.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth, creamy, and well combined.Â
- Place half of the cooked spaghetti in the bottom of the baking dish. Put half of the cream cheese mixture over the spaghetti as evenly as possible. Spread with half of the meat mixture. Repeat the layers once and top with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
I am pretty sure you will love this Million Dollar Spaghetti recipe. Some things in life just need an upgrade and spaghetti is definitely one of them.

This sounds and looks so delicious 🙂 I might have to try this with half mozzarella and half cheddar. My kids are not too picky, but one of them doesn’t really like cheddar. I love all cheese but that is the one thing that she doesn’t like a variety of. I bet it would still be good with both cheeses tho!
I might have to try that way too. Thanks for reading!
This looks delicious! We usually have spaghetti with bolognese or meatballs but this would make a nice change.
Mmm! That sounds good!
My kids used to love a casserole with similar ingredients. It uses noodles instead of spaghetti and there are other minor differences. The dairy ingredients are the same. It was a family favorite. I’d make some right now if we weren’t trying to avoid gluten and dairy now. We really miss these pasta dishes.
That sounds good! I might have to try it that way.
Thanks for this recipe. Printed it out and going to try making it soon. Looks delish.
Awesome!
