How We Saved Christmas With EZ-Illuminations

I have always loved Christmas and everything that the season brings. I love ugly sweaters, Christmas songs, mistletoe, eggnog, my crazy aunt and the decorations. When we get out the Christmas tree, our family is quickly reminded of all the amazing ornaments that we have collected over the years. And with the fire going, we play Christmas music and decorate the tree. Now that to me is a perfectly warm and cozy picture of the holiday season.

But you see, once the decorations are done inside the home, everyone turns their focus to the outside. And the one person responsible for matching the Christmas spirit on the outside of the house with what’s inside is me. Now with young kids, they expect me to deliver the goods. And over the past few years, I have gone with the same setup of lights. So once the work is done, I usher the kids out to show them my decorating skills. I have noticed year after year, that the payoff in their reactions has been less and less. Last year, I stood my kids out in the front yard, lit up the lights and my daughter said, “Kinda weak, dad.” Really? She was right. They were weak. I had pretty much decided to not put up Christmas lights this year. Bah humbug!

After much thought, I decided to up my game and start over with a new set of lights this year. I got the new EZ-Illuminations Super Sparkle lights and EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Bulbs available from Walmart. Let me just say that saved our Christmas! I decided to go with the icicle lights, mini lights, garland lights and the EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Bulbs. They also have net lights for your bushes. I decorated my roofline with the icicle lights, my tree with the mini lights and the front door with the garland lights. You can also hang the garland lights around pillars and columns. Really there is no limit to where you can decorate.

The best thing is how the EZ-Illuminations Super Sparkle lights work. Every bulb twinkles independently and creates a dramatic lighting effect that is very unique. This makes all the difference in how much my house is lit up. You can even decorate inside your house around the windows, down a staircase. The possibilities are endless.

I also replaced my driveway lamp posts with the EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Bulbs. It’s not an actual flame but instead simulates a natural flame with flickering LED lights. Being that it’s LED, it is a safe and energy-saving light source. They are great because they emit warm flame colors that give that cozy relaxing atmosphere. You can also use them for floor lamps and wall sconces.

The EZ-Illuminations lights are so much more vibrant than what we had because of how fast the lights move which makes them a really great value. It is really something you have to see.

I can tell you this. When my kids came out this year, they were blown away by the new setup. They couldn’t believe how fast the lights moved. Its very true that as working parents we often have that one last email to check or that one last call to make. Its important to draw boundaries and set time for ourselves as well as the kids..
